It’s a tremendous honor for me to be the recipient of this year VISA d’Or News at Visa Pour l’Image of Perpignan with the coverage of COVID-19 for The New York Times. I’m very glad to see my name listed in this group of legendary photographers and friends. I would like to thanks all the NYT team, all the coders, graphic designers, the journalist Jason Horowitz and the editors, particularly Gaia Tripoli and David Furst for the incredible work they did and for supporting and trusting me in all the moments during this important assignment.
